How well do you know the story of Jesus’ birth? Your gut reaction may be: ‘All too well’. So well in fact, that you may slightly dread Christmas rolling around each year. As children’s leaders we are required – year in, year out – to ‘do’ the nativity, whether it be in the form of a performance, a carol service or some craft activity involving wire coat hangers.
