April 2017 // Journeying Together: Session 3 - Abraham

Meeting aim: To explore the promises God made to Abraham and how he trusted God to keep them.

Bible passage: Genesis 12:1-7; 15:1-6

Background: Abraham’s story is a huge challenge. God asks him to leave his comfortable life for an unknown destination and he just goes. God promises him something that seems unlikely and he trusts God. What does that say to us about God? Us? Our relationship with God? Help young people explore these issues for their own life as they discover Abraham’s story We’ve used Abraham rather than Abram to avoid confusion.
