On 25th May 1961, a leader with a vision changed the world for ever, setting in motion one of the most fascinating and unforgettable events in recent history. John Fitzgerald Kennedy (JFK), the 35th President of the United Sates, stood before congress and declared: “I believe that this nation should commit itself to achieving the goal, before this decade is out, of landing a man on the Moon and returning him safely to the Earth.”
