Over 5,500 sex attacks in schools have been reported to the police in the last three years. The total includes almost 4,000 indecent assaults and 600 rapes and more than 1,500 of the victims were under 13 years old. The NSPCC’s head of sexual abuse programmes, Jon Brown blamed these figures on online pornography, saying, ‘We know that for some older children, accessing hardcore pornography is warping their view of what is acceptable behaviour.’
