The books that changed our lives

One of the reasons I am so glad I did a degree in youth work and ministry is that it forced me to read books and think critically about my own work with young people. As I read, thought and wrote through those formative years, God spoke to me many times through books on youth ministry, theology, ‘secular’ youth work practice and spiritual formation. Some of those books influenced me so much I have not stopped recommending them and buying them for people over ten years later.
